What I'm Saying.

Heather Carpenter’s New Nonprofit Portfolio Web Site Design is Almost Live

Life Events, Nonprofit Communications

My apologies for not posting much this month until now. I was away for familial reasons; my wife gave birth to our second child — a son. Life is rapidly unfolding for me and I couldn’t be happier.

Recently, I wrote about redesigning Heather Carpenter’s Web site at NonprofitAlternatives.org. The site isn’t live just yet, but we are in the final stages, making the final adjustments before it goes live and we repoint the domain name to her new design. This is a sneak peak just for readers here a Williteration. I based it off of this PSDTuts+ tutorial and made adjustments to make it unique.

This project was a lot of fun for me and it gave me a chance to showcase my talents and claim every inch of her site design as my own work. I hope others in the nonprofit field will take notice and seek out my services to assist them with their designs. Because I haven’t made a name for myself just yet in the nonprofit professionals field, I performed this work on a volunteer basis. I really like how it turned out.

What do you think? Do you have any suggestions for improvements or comments about the design? Please leave a comment. I would love to hear your thoughts.
